Note

The Statewide Strategic Plan for the Safe Management of Asbestos in Queensland 2022-2025 (Queensland Strategic Plan), which outlined various actions for asbestos management by Queensland Government agencies, expired at the end of 2025.

Work is underway to develop a new Queensland action plan under the Asbestos National Strategic Plan 2024-2030.
